Loved, Loved, Loved this house and location. Very easy check in process, beautiful view. We had 9 in our party and it worked great. We didn’t feel crowded at all. The house is beautiful and the photos on Airbnb are accurate! We will be back!

The house was absolutely gorgeous. It catered to our needs plus more. Diane was great, she was more than a blessing for letting us book her beautiful home. It’s even better in person, I promise you. Only thing I have to include here is to watch your golf carts very closely (we had it locked as instructed and it was still stolen from the driveway of the home). Other than that mishap everything was perfect.

This place is many things, but almost none can be put into words. It’s truly a feeling and experience you need to live to believe! Not only are you welcomed by a spacious comfortable two story home with 4 on suite master bedrooms, but you walk out the full sliding glass back doors overlooking an amazing infinity pool while feeling the breeze of the Caribbean blow through your hair. With the lovely indoor/outdoor feel it is a true oasis. Only steps away from the beautiful cliffs of Punta Sur the home is immaculately taken care of and provides the perfect place for a lavish get away or a relaxing retreat. Diane and her staff are so amazing and responded quickly and efficiently to any needs we had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. You won’t regret it!

We stayed here with our 3 children and their significant others and could not have picked a better place to stay! The pictures don’t fully do justice to the home. It is so lovely with a variety of areas to relax with the whole group or alone. The pool, the outside sitting area, the inside living room, the beautiful kitchen & dining room and the bedrooms with private baths are fantastic! We had a private chef from Madera come in the night we arrived, and we all agree that it was a spectacular night. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything the chef needed and the dining room was perfect for the eight of us! We also had a wonderful brunch on Sunday prepared for us for which we are so grateful! We have already booked our next visit and am sure that there will be many more to come. Thank you Diane!

Everything was great. The view from the house is the best, and the walk to Punta Sur is perfect.
The house was exceptionally clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The coconut scented shampoo and conditioner were perfect. The kitchen was well stocked. The beach and bath towels were nice and soft. The pool was clean and relaxing. There was plenty of outdoor furniture where we spent most of our time when we weren’t gallivanting around the island, exploring Punta Sur, and playing on Playa Norte. Jennifer and the Mundaca team were efficient and kind. Bob and Diane were very helpful and always responded to my questions. Thank you!

This house is gorgeous and has everything that you might need. All the separate bedrooms with bathrooms make it perfect for a group. The balconies provide private space with amazing views. The large kitchen, living room and dining room are wonderful communal spaces and you can look out over the pool to the sea from almost every room. The hosts were excellent and check in and check out were seamless. The house is on the southern part of the island which we prefer because it is quiet. You do have to take a short taxi or bus ride to get to the main touristy part of the island.

You will not be disappointed, Casa Flor de Mayo is perfect!!! The home had plenty of room for our crew and is stocked with everything you could possibly need. This was a girls trip and we had the most fabulous time at this beautiful house! What you see online and videos is what you get and more! The pool and the view from the pool is amazing anytime of day! The home is beautifully decorated with all the amenities! Comfortable beds, bathrooms are modern, they have conditioner, shampoo and body wash in each bathroom. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook a meal or to have one catered. The house is in walking distance to Punta Sur which you have to see. The house is secured, and has cameras. The house is also a short 15 minute cab ride into downtown! We absolutely loved this house and highly recommend you will not be disappointed! I wish I could post photos!

Casa Flor de Mayo was everything we hoped for and MORE. The house was very spacious and there was more than enough room for our group of 9. All of the rooms were big. 3 of the rooms had an ocean view, 1 had a garden view, and 1 had no view. The room with no view was also the only room without an en-suite bathroom. The room setup worked out fine for our group. The outdoor space was breathtaking. We made use of the grill and enjoyed the pool throughout the day. There were many great food options within driving distance, having a golf cart is a must. Everyone in our group was very happy with our stay here and we would highly recommend it to others!

The home is better than the photos! The stunning views of the ocean. Please dont miss the iguanas sunning themselves on the rocky edge. We had a smooth check in and communication. The fantastic chef recommendations made our trip even better. There are many thoughtful touches we noticed in the home. This home is located on the south side of the island. Its very quiet and there is a grocery store about a 10-12 min taxi ride away. I recommend getting a golf cart rental as far as in advance as possible. If not coordinating multiple cabs is required for every outing. I would also do grocery delivery and/or chef service. We will definitely stay here again.

Friends (3 couples) stay at Casa Flor de Mayo end of September 2022. Such an impressive home. The 3 master bedrooms with baths was perfect for us. We didn’t have a need for the other bedrooms but they would be great for a larger group. House is just beautiful and modern. The pool was so nice with the endless view of the ocean. Full walls of windows gave you views from everywhere in the house. Home is safe and well cared for. we had a private chef come and cook us dinner and served in the large dining room also with a glass wall facing the ocean. Would come back any time.

We went with a group of 10 women to celebrate our friendship on Woman Island. This house was everything we needed and more! It’s located on the southern point of the island, away from the major hustle and bustle, but SO close to everything you’d want! Restaurants and bars less than a 3-5 minute golf cart ride (we love the Joint) and you can take the path behind the house down to see the ruins (about a 15 minute walk along the ocean cliffs!) There’s cold coconut stands just minutes from the home, along with a beautiful Woman’s Bead Co-Op that we all were obsessed with! Beaches and snorkeling are also super close. The pool was amazing along with sunrises on the huge balcony. They provided beach towels and even sunscreen if you forgot! And they made us the most DELICIOUS appetizers for the day we got in (literally saved us all after long travel!) We’re some thirsty gals and drank the 4 huge jugs of purified water they gave us, and Isaac was fast as HELL bringing us more! Also loved that they provided chilled drinking water (one less thing to coordinate.) Jennifer was also super fast to reply to any inquiry. We’re already thinking ahead to our 2023 Isla stay here!

celebrated my birthday here with family and friends, the house is beautiful. Rent golf carts you will need than and they’re fun.
The home is well equipped with beach towels, floaties, grill etc…
The breakfast was very good, we used Chef Josafat for the dinner, awesome!c

Wow, what an incredible stay at Casa Flor de Mayo! We were a group of 10 and from the moment we walked in the door, were blown away by this gorgeous house, property and all the amenities it had to offer. Located in Punta Sur, it was the perfect vibe for our group. On the quieter side of the island, we enjoyed exploring the, “off-the-beaten-path” bars, restaurants and beaches. Highly recommend renting golf carts and just taking off in the morning and seeing where the day would take us! The house has a beautiful infinity pool with views of the ocean. A large, open concept kitchen, dining and living room, all again, with views of the turquoise waters from every angle. We were able to cook meals in, order in as well as eat out as desired. With enough beach towels for all, comfortable beds and pillows/linens, shampoo/conditioner and body wash in every bathroom, there was nothing left to be desired. The washer/dryer were an added bonus for the group as all of us traveled with carryons for ease of airport time. Highly recommend Isla Fun Tours for private transfer (including private boat) to and from the island. The taco and margarita tour with Cultura Cruisers was a highlight as well as a few visits to the Women’s Beading Co-op for souvenirs. Be sure to check out El Burrocho Buru, (just a short walk or golf cart ride) for live music (including Elvis and Michael Jackson), 25 pesos Sols and some corn hole fun! Although Hidalgo and the North end is where the “action” is, we were more content in Punta Sur with the more laid-back, almost “hippy” vibe. It was nice to take in Hidalgo for an afternoon or evening but we were always happy to escape back to the paradise of Casa Flor de Mayo. Five stars do not do this property justice. Diane and Bob are incredible hosts, went over and above for our group from the time we booked to the days after we arrived back home. Do not hesitate to book Casa Flor de Mayo for your stay on Isla Mujeres!!!

Amazing stay. The house is exactly as pictured and the view from almost anywhere is spectacular! It’s very serene as you can hear the ocean waves crashing on the beach below.
Management is excellent; helpful, highly communicative and responsive.
They recommended Lucy, a wonderful chef, who came in and cooked several meals for our group. The food was outstanding and Lucy is a sweetheart.
Incredible trip.

This is our second stay and yet again it was wonderful! Every amenity you could possibly need. Check in and communication is great, wonderful recommendations as always and perfectly located on the island for a quiet peaceful vacation. The house kitchen is fully stocked as well as all bedrooms. Great for adults and kids alike as the pool is always a hit!
